Everything is Energy

How semi-precious stones can interact with us and affect our day-to-day lives.

Many great scientists have explored and proven that everything is energy. Pythagoras, Plato, Hypatia, Leonardo da Vinci, Copernicus, Galileo, Newton and many others have explored this notion further. This has been knowledge since ancient times and yet we seem to have lost connection with this concept.

The Physics

Even though we we did not need proof, quantum physics has been able to prove this, but today we place higher importance on the more dense energetic frequencies, i.e. objects that interact with our five senses. But what about the less dense frequencies that are not able to be detected by our fives senses?


Our bodies are constantly giving off and receiving energy that cannot be perceived by the five senses. Our thoughts hold a certain vibration, what exact vibration will depend on the nature of the them. Similarly the words that we speak give off certain energetic vibrations. This is also provides the backdrop of sound healing, homeopathy and bioresonance.

This can be viewed as a survival instinct just as the 'fight or flight' response helps us in difficult situations, our sensitivity to energy can do the same. This is where the expression 'gut feeling' comes from. The stomach is very sensitive to energy and is a great indicator as to what the appropriate response is in a given scenario.

Increasing Your Sensitivity

We have lost touch with this aspect of our lives and, since our lifestyles have adapted to the ever-increasing demands of modern life, we have also become less sensitive to these energies. We are constantly surrounded by dense energies and stimulation from laptops, mobile phones, television, loud music etc. One way to increase your sensitivity is to set time aside each day or each week (depending on how much time is available to you) and turn everything off and allow yourself to just be and sit in one place. Ideally find a place to sit in nature, otherwise a place where you won't be distracted by any technology. Over time you might feel that you want this more and it allows you to get more perspective on the amount of energy that we are bombarding ourselves with on a daily basis.

Where do the crystals come in?

Just like everything else, the particles of each semi-precious stone are vibrating at certain frequencies. The knowledge of how each of these frequencies affect us has been passed down over time. Wearing these stones directly on your skin allows for these vibrations to be in direct contact with your frequencies and, over time, they can help to 'nudge' your particles in the right direction.
