Named after the zodiac belt-shaped region of the sky which marks the path that the Sun moves along celestial sphere through the course of the year. The orbital paths of the Moon and major planets are all held within the belt of the zodiac.
Each bracelet as been inspired by the different star constellations and their influence over each individual’s birth chart as well as the history, art and symbolism associated with each of the constellations.
HYADES
Named after a v-shaped cluster of stars, sometimes referred to as a sisterhood, placed in the head of the constellation of Taurus, revered in Ancient times. This collection consists of and knotted pearl necklaces, bracelets and crowns on silk thread, complete with striking 18 carat gold signature clasps.
PLATO
Inspired by Plato’s symbolism and theory that all of life is made up of the four different elements, earth, water, fire and air. This is a collection of silver and gold necklaces and bracelets that have been inspired by the geometric make up of the universe.
MATTE GEMSTONES
All that shines is not gold.' The designer insists on working with only with matte gemstones as they reflect the beauty that already exists in the perfect imperfection of nature.
This is a prevalent aspect of life, learning to appreciate substance and revel in what sometimes may not seem like ideal situations but bring about growth and newfound perspectives. Life is not polished, bright and shiny, it is a beautiful culmination of ups and downs that come together to create our individual experiences.
Matte gemstones are also more rare, they are produced in much smaller quantities than polished, making each piece even more unique.
The designer also prefers matte because it allows the character of each stone to show through more vividly. The gloss tends to take away from the true colour and all the tiny and unique characteristics that each bead possesses. This way you can fully understand the personality of your chosen stone.
