AQUAMARINE | Ancient Greeks associated this gemstone with mermaids, the god Poseidon and the goddess Aphrodite. They believed it had the ability to enhance mental clarity and bring inner peace. Historically it was carried by sea merchants for protection, it was believed to offer safe passage during storms, granting them knowledge of the sea. It is very healing and can support the immune system, calm the mind and encourage self-reflection. It can help soothe anxiety and balance emotions, encouraging inner peace, joy and youthfulness and is useful for meditation.

HANDLE WITH CARE | Aquamarine and pearls are delicate gemstones, so handle necklaces with care to avoid scratching or chipping. Avoid dropping them on hard surfaces.

KEEP SEPARATE | Store separately from other jewellery pieces to prevent scratching, especially if they have gemstone or metal components.

CLEAN REGULARLY | After wearing, gently wipe down the necklace with a soft, damp cloth to remove oils and dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, as they can damage pearls.

RESTRING PERIODICALLY | As time goes by, the string holding might start feeling a bit loose. Consider having your necklace professionally restrung every few years to prevent breakage.

AVOID EXTREME TEMPERATURE | Aquamarine and pearls are sensitive to extreme temperatures, which can cause them to crack or lose their lustier. Avoid exposing your necklace to excessive heat or cold.
