ESTĪA SERIES

Updated: Apr 15

‘Estia’ translates to hearth, fireplace or altar in Ancient Greek.

Our limited ceramic series was inspired by both restaurants in F ZEEN KEFALONIA, Gaia and Selīni. There is a luxury to be found in the simple and traditional craftsmanship techniques. We created designs that emphasised the materials and traditional techniques used rather than detracting from these.

It was essential for us that each piece was made by hand and made in Greece.

These designs showcase the beautifully rough and natural texture of the clay used, incorporating age-old techniques.

Each piece flows spectacularly from one to another with its neutral and earthy colour palette. Due to the handmade nature, each piece is completely unique. This aspect and the simplicity of the design and finishing ensure that they will quietly stand out in your home.

Our favourite item are the mugs. There is nothing like holding this kind of texture in your hands whilst sipping on a freshly made coffee or tea. It gives the experience a whole other dimension.

We underestimate the importance of touch and smell when it comes to a tasting experience. These mugs will always connect you back to the beauty that can be found in simplicity.
